TESA is committed to supporting lifelong learning and professional growth by offering scholarships to eligible members and their families. These scholarships provide financial assistance to individuals pursuing continuing education and academic excellence.

Lorene Roby Rogers Memorial Scholarship

The Lorene Roby Rogers Memorial Scholarship was established by the Texas Educational Secretaries Association following the passing of Ms. Lorene Roby Rogers on December 31, 1969. During the May 1970 General Assembly, members voted to establish a permanent scholarship fund in her honor.

This scholarship provides financial assistance to educational support staff members who are pursuing higher education or continuing their professional development.

Dr. Michael Zolkoski Technology Scholarship

Established in June 1996, the Dr. Michael Zolkoski Technology Scholarship supports TESA members who wish to enhance their technology skills through computer and technology-related coursework.

This scholarship encourages members to strengthen their technical knowledge and remain current with the ever-changing technology used in today's educational environments.

Founders' Scholarship

The Founders' Scholarship was established in April 2006 by the Texas Educational Support Staff Association to honor the past leaders and members whose vision, dedication, and service laid the foundation for the organization.

This scholarship is available to the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of active TESA members. Eligible applicants must be graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education after graduation.

TESA is proud to invest in the future of educational support staff and their families by recognizing academic achievement and encouraging continued educational success.
